International Marine Purchasing Association (IMPA) was organized by a group of senior purchasers who wanted to embody the value of the purchasing profession with shipping. The association represents 700 members of ship owners, operators and managers’ account for purchaser members and manufacturers around the world. Their fundamental mission is to promote close operation and relationship between purchaser and supplier in the global maritime business. Furthermore, to develop and support standards within the industry in order to provide value to its members.
